Convert between different units of absorbed radiation dose, including gray, sievert, rad, rem, and more.
For X-rays and gamma rays, 1 gray (Gy) is equal to 1 sievert (Sv). For other types, multiply by a radiation weighting factor.
Example: 2 Gy × 1 = 2 Sv (for X-rays/gamma rays)
Multiply rad by a quality factor (usually 1 for X-rays/gamma rays). 1 rad = 1 rem for these types.
Example: 10 rad × 1 = 10 rem
Multiply the number of sieverts by 100 to get rem.
Example: 0.5 Sv × 100 = 50 rem
